What deletion means
This process applies whether you created your GNB Edge account yourself or received login credentials from a recruiter, employer, or staffing agency. When you request account deletion:
- Your portal login and profile access are removed.
- Your personal profile data (name, contact details, address, resume, job-application history where stored in the portal, etc.) is deleted from the portal, subject to the retention rules below.
- Employment records that we are legally required to keep — such as timesheets, clock-in photos, and payroll data — are retained for as long as employment and tax law requires, then deleted. This is the same retention described in our Privacy Policy.
How to request deletion
- In the app: open GNB Edge → Profile → Legal → Delete my account, and follow the prompts.
- By email: send a message to itsupport@groupnb.ca from your registered email address with the subject line "Account deletion request".
What happens next
Our team reviews and processes deletion requests within approximately 30 days. You can continue using the app until your request is processed. We will send you a confirmation email once your request has been completed.
